Aaron Carpene, Bachelor Science University of Western Australia, diploma in Organ - Conservatory of Venice, diploma in harpsichord - Conservatory of Venice, diploma in Composition and Choral Conducting - Conservatory of Venice.
Main field of study: early Italian vocal and instrumental music; he has recorded the complete keyboard works of Paolo Quagliati for Tactus, Sosarme by G. F. Handel (Virgin Records), Artaserse by Domenech Terradellas (K617).
Invited as soloist and in ensembles to festivals and theatres worldwide: Oslo International Chamber Music Festival, Sao Carlo Opera Theatre of Lisbon, Opera theatre of Wiesbaden, Bilbao, Modena, Ferrara, Piacenza, and tours in South Africa and Australia.
Aaron Carpene has published critical editions of Hans Leo Hassler's complete Organ Magnificats (Il Levante Libreria Editrice, Latina) and Baldassare Galuppi's Confitebor tibi Domine 1733 for La sinfonie d’Orphée (Tours, France).
